Description High school football action this fall. I love shooting football for the paper and getting to use their camera to do it. Not much to say about this shot... white team tackling red team. I think the white player on the right balances the photo. I tried cropping him out, but left the photo in its original form because I realized the background player's worth.

HAHA. You got his facial expression and everything...haha.

I think it was a good choice to leave the background player in the photo. . keeps it even.

Perfect use of DOF...it really helps to pop the main two players out. The players in the back really don't bother me too much...I actually think it helps the overall image as well. Adds to it more like. It shows that there is more action going on than just what you have focused on. That looks painful! Well done!

thank you. i like having players in the background, too, when the DOF is limited like that. it was a fun game to watch. too bad the season is over.

Cool shot. I love the blurredness of the crowd and the background. All the background players seem to be in miid-air which is so cool

thanks i didn't even notice the players in mid-air until you mentioned it. it's pretty strange to look at now that i see that. i like it, but it's just a little weird. anyways, thanks for pointing it out.

it's wicked when someone points out something that you didn't see before isn't it. I enjoy it when i get comments like that.
