Description
Out of all the flowers I saw that day, there was only one with an insect on it. I'm glad I happened to notice it. It's things like that that can really make my day when I'm out wandering around by the lake, enjoying the weather. This guy was so docile... he just sat there, basking in the sun, as I would have liked to do on that sunny afternoon. I took this at the beach, in a small clearing in the forrest where it meets the sand of the shore. It was hard to focus on him as the breeze off of Lake Superior pushed his flower around. This is the first I've really used the new close-up lenses I recently aquired, and I'm looking forward to doing more.
