Playin’ with a Spidey MCU concept.
Wanted his standalone suit to look passable as his final design, but still notably on a highschooler’s budget.
Then once he proves himself with the big players, Tony Stark is like ‘Hey kid- you got the moves, but your suit needs some tweaking.’ Gets him fitted with a sleeker look for legit Avenger time.
Also, reverse-side spider is now a backpack. I miss the fat spider.

I like the first one better surprisingly. the bottom half of it gave me a urban feeling. The red gives it a spray painted look. When I read in the description that it was supposed to look more high-schooler budget I realized why there were dark spots in the eyes; you can see though the material to his eyes. That's a good touch.
On the "newer" one I like the way the gloves point and the shiny material in the pants.

That's some rad-ass-rad designs. I love that the classic suit we're familiar with is, like, exactly between these two. The left one added more home-madeitude and the right one added slickidity. Which would make the on-screen reveal of both equally exciting.

Awesome! I like your take on his suit designs. I'm in agreement that this design is much nicer than the supposed leak images, though if either of them is legitimate I'll admit the "street clothes" costume one was kind of different.

The concept discussed in the leaks just basically outlines as homemade costume, similar to the ones used in previous films. Any art shown within these articles is fan art based on said artist's interpretation of the description. I mean this article has a completely different piece of fan art based on the same description:
