That one doesn't work with the Enhanced Inkling model, but it's not needed when the default styles are already available on the Enhanced Inkling model.
And you can use the TF2 paint tool to make the hairstyles white.

With the submaterial tool out, select the Invisible material.
Then aim it at the model. Use your middle mouse wheel to scroll to the material you want to replace, and left click to apply the material

And if you have the Inkling models in Gmod, they should be already in there with them

Are you selecting the inkling and then attaching the hair, and not the other way around?

But also when I try to bonemerge, appears a message that says: Warning! Selected model has less bones than the target model! You are most likely trying to bonemerge backwards!

I've been getting into Gmod Splatooning and I'm hoping to learn more things along the way.
I dunno if anybody can do it, but can this work on the Octolings? I can only disable their hair, but not their suction cups. I was trying to make the closest thing I got to the playable Octoling models by putting a playable Octoling hairstyle on the enhanced Octoling enemy model.

It should work on them. And the suction cups can be made invisible, you just need the right material

*facepalms* Of course there had to be a second teamcolor part... it was hidden between other parts rather than being under the first teamcolor part.
But that presents another problem: Eyebrows. They go missing just like if you use submaterial on a non-alt Inkling.

As I said, I got the hair to be completely transparent now. It's just that the eyebrows go invisible too.
Also, maybe I'm doing this wrong, but I've been trying to do that eye swap thing with the SubMaterial tool and nothing's working.

It's too small I can't read it even if I use magnifier it doesn't work; it's blurry. Can you make another version but bigger? If you fix this I would think this is a great tutorial (although I haven't even done it because it's TOO SMALL!!!) not that I'm angry or anything... -.-
