I have figured out how to do this in SFM, but it's only the nude Inkling bit.
Instructions:
1. Have the Enhanced Inkling pack from the Workshop.
2. Create a New Inkling.
3. Right click on "inkling_boy_coloreyes1" in the tree window. (color represents the color of the eyes.)
4. Click "Add Override Materials".
5. Right click again and hover over "Show in Element Viewer", then click "Model".
6. Click on the Element Viewer.
7. Click on Materials in the Tree window.
8. Find in the tree "inkling_boy_underwear"
9: Right click on it and hover over "Add Attribute", then press "String".
10. Pressing on String will bring up another window. It will ask for a name. Enter "$basetexture".
11. The Inkling should look black. This is normal, unless you want your Inkling to be completely black.
12. Click on "$basetexture".
13. Enter "models\props_splatoon\inklings\inkling_boy_body.vmt".
There you go!
Also, when adding attributes and file paths, do not add the quotation marks.

"Select inkling body material"Β
uh, can you tell me where exactly that is?

bravebravesirbrian1 In reply to Eliteface640 [2017-08-24 16:45:37 +0000 UTC]
Look at the picture. It's the material that says "body". You have to match the number with the skin tone

How do i select the body material? I can only get what options the Submaterial tool gives by dafault.

Do you have a mouse with a scroll wheel? You need to wheel down the one you want then use the right mouse button to copy

I got it now. I realized i had to get rid of my current material so i can copy without switching it. I got it, now.

Brian, here's a Shirtless Inkling Boy from Splatoon 2. That means once Splatoon 2 Inklings come to the GMOD workshop we won't need this tutorial anymore.

I'm a bit curious, but, do both Inkling Boy Ragdolls have to be the same color?

Yes. Otherwise the pants won't match
