This is the first of the space themed family, Meteorice is part shooting star, meteorite, and asteroid. It's statistics are low with the ability to improve as it evolves, but it has increasingly more powerful attacks as it levels up to sort of tease the trainer into keeping it in its initial form even though it will be very weak statistically.
