Yes, it is painted on the lid of an ice cream container, (I was using it as a paint palette but then it turned into an art work), 
I used acrylics but at times added structural jell to make to paint stickier/more happy to gel with the plastic (the paint won't stay in place unless it is thick enough -otherwise it pearls up into globs).
