They are all done on the lid of those plastic pottels you get from the deli counter, and I used paint pigment (powders), acrylic paint, acrylic binder (a super liquidy one) and just built it up layer buy layer, As the plastic lids are clear I painted on both sides to build up the layers and some of the paint work was done using a skewer rather than a brush.
