Edit: Ok,since some of you are saying its too much like SSJ 3 there is a reason for this.I did not want to go over the top with a completely new appearance because thats pointless.in DBZ the most radical change was from SSJ 2 to SSJ3,where the hair grew longer/the eyebrows disappeared.Re-changing SSJ 4 to be a completely unique transformation would be completely against the thing im trying to do (What SSJ4 did in GT)Things that are different for TRUE SSJ4:Goku's fringe is alot bigger and sticks out more,He has the obvious hair in the front which covers his chest,and his pupils are more dilated to correspond to the black of the SSJ 3,instead of the big green filled eye with Black pupil.The huge change in his appearance is the thing you cant see,his aura.He has plasma instead of lightning and his aura is spherical and not the usual erratic aura we are used to see.
Last thing:When you look at this transformation,dont look at it and immediately say it looks like SSJ3,that is the intention.I dont want to make a whole new transformation because its to far fetched as the story goes.Think of SSJ3 as the base of SSJ 4,Just like SSJ1 is the Base of SSJ2.This is what I am trying to put out.To create a whole new transformation would be against what I want to do and its exactly what all other fan mangas have done (with SSJ5-6 ect) THIS transformation is in check with the first 3 forms.
Final thought: The changes in appearance I want people to see are maybe tweaks with the eyes/hair/maybe a slight facial change.But I want you to recognize that this IS just 1 up from SSJ3 and not some complete new transformation.So the length of the hair and the no eyebrows will stay firmly on his body
This is Goku forced to raise his power level without his tail,here he has achieved TRUE SSJ 4. This is conceptual and only put for your input and opinions (things I should change/leave) The final product will be a PNG with background I'm hoping.
Aura: His lightning has changed and is now a more intense Plasma instead which is attracted to its surroundings (that of a plasma ball) and his Aura is no more erratic and pointed but spherical and swirling but also pulses slightly

Technically there is no cannon super saiyan 4, the transformation in gt is actually called hitzaru which is different, it was only called super saiyan 4 as a technical term

Hitozaru is my personal term for the transformation.Toei in no way used that term whatsoever to refer to SSJ4.I understand GT is not canon lol i've never seen a GT manga.I dont know what you mean by they use it as a 'technical term' the form in GT is called SSJ4.there is nothing technical about it.

I can appreciate the thought you put put into this and what your intention what they did in GT with the character design was not anything like the other Super Saiyan transformations and I didn't like it... this is more like the other SS modes but I still feel like i'm looking at SS3. I couldn't quite understand what you were doing with the "aura" but I would love to see the lightning make a comeback. I didn't like the was the eyes looked, they were colored so lightly he almost looks blind lol, maybe some contrast? Other thatn that I like the project in it's totality and would love to see an actual finished product!

This has nothing to do with my TT story but in TT he regains his adulthood due to him being wished to a child.I'd like to think once he was spirited with Shenron he regained his original body.And this is kind of proven at the very end of GT when he watches Goku Jr Fight.And also at the end of the GT movie when he gives the Dragonball to his great grandson

Yeah this is like hypothetical,if Goku lost his tail somehow and was unable to attain a higher level from SSJ3.I couldnt change it too much without messing up SSJ3.I didnt want to make the hair longer and more outragous because that would be ridiculous.Also I didnt want to make the hair shorter because it then voids the point of SSJ3's hair getting so long,so I just tried to add to SSJ 3 and make this look a little more advanced.If I can get my effects right with the aura it should look awesome,but I'm struggling with the time I have and its hard to draw plasma lol due to never doing it before.also I want his aura to be like a swirling ball of light yellow pulsing fire....Which again is easy to imagine but hard as shit to draw

Look at goku and vegeta. The only reason you could tell gohan was a ssj2 was because his ssj1 hair was down. With Goku and vegeta, you can't even tell whether they're a ssj1 or 2 unless they tell you
