Brisineo, this is the best commission I have ever got the read. Spec ops the line was a great game and really emotional. I'm happy this crossover existed cause of you able to draw it

Can't understand one thing; why all FoE illustrator always descript flying wagon as some completely non-aerodynamic construction? Streamlined bullet-shape with tail rudders would be a lot more 1950-th like, and pretty more rational!

The wagons and such are magicaly powered I believe, so its not just one or more pegasi powering it. And they are basically cars in their world and back then (1950s) buses werent the nicest looking things if I remember corectly.

But this is aerial transport. It need aerodynamical shapes; or it would be VERY hard to travel in it.

Not if they are magically powered. The skywagon littlepip rode around in wasnt exactly aerodynamic and they stopped every now and then for spark batteries right? It wasnt just calamity controlling it. It has the shape a bus should have maybe but not like a plane.

The means of propulsion didn't cancel the laws of aerodynamic. You would have the incredible ammount of problems by trying to move something like "bus" through air.

I missed out on Spec Ops: The Line when it came out. It was at around the time i decided to have a break from gaming, especially military shooters.
I keep hearing that it has quite a compelling story and these images have piqued my interest. Next time i'm at CeX i'll see if i can pick up a copy.

Not neccesarily. As far as they know she is in a shcoked state so they didnt expect her to actually shoot. I mea come on kts littlepip! Who always has best i terests at heart even in the darkest of times. To them this is another dark time they tried to help her through but unfortunatly failed. If you pic the lilmacintosh or zebra rifle ending that is.

..... why are you making this? it doesn't mesh with fallout equestria in the slightest. hell the whole hallucination thing you did several pages ago does not work at all. there is no way littlepip hallucinated spike being alive. it would mean everyone else hallucinated a still living dragon. not to mention they would have stopped little pip from going forward long before she reached this point if she thought she saw that, or that she was trying to talk to those robots.
it all just does not work at all and you have to twist everything around. it does not mesh. thus any emotional impact or reaction is nummed to non existent because this becomes completely contrived. they would not have let pip continue on if she was doing stuff like that. they would have stopped her long ago.
i am seeing people being approving of this and i do not understand why. it doesn't mesh.

While that it's a commission someone asked, the logic is supposed to be that throughout her entire adventure, her visions of grandeur and heroism imply that she made up several parts of Fallout Equestria. Thus many of the locations, ponies, people, factions, etc. may not have existed anywhere except in her head and the truth could be incredibly more dark and brutal. (her imagination being a 'shield' to protect against the truth.) Except that somehow, she was able to make it to the SPP... which was abandoned and nonfunctional. Celestia didn't upload herself successfully, and the entire system didn't work.
And now that she realizes she's not who she is, that this world is all a lie... There is no way to save it. Who could she trust if she can't trust herself?
That's the logic that the commissioner and I have, but you're free to interpret it however you wish.

that is immensely contrived still. it is let us change everything without any common sense. the Somehow is the issue. velvet proved that she is more than willing to go against littlepip's wishes to protect her. thus, non of this could happen.
and also if spike is dead and so was celestia, how the hell would she be able to even transport there?
there is no way this story functions without completely plot contrivance. commission or not, flaws are flaws, and these flaws are deep.

think of it. the only way this could end is with velvet zapping little pip with a tranquilizer spell. of course it will have to ignore that for it to function, just like it ignores the logic of why any of these ponies would be following a mad pony who hallucinated a giant dragon.

It's based on the game Spec Ops: The Line (not black ops, hue). I imagine it's more about paying tribute while getting some awesome crossover art in the process. Logic weren't meant to have a place here in the first place. Just enjoy the art.

looking backwards it is just monstrously contrived at how it reaches this point. not only did she somehow hallicinate the robots talking to her and a still living dragon and active device, somehow her allies did not stop her from going forward despite her showing, in their point of view, immense instability.
there is no emotion to this at all because of how little it meshes into the original story.

Oh who bloody cares how much it meshes with the original story? Seriously, this is based on Spec Ops the line (not Black Ops), hell this can be seen as a "what if" stuff. What if Lilttlepip was kinda insane, what if the Wasteland broke her from all the travesty's she saw and she began to create her own reality and her friends followed her because they believed/were worried for her.

it is very well drawn and such, but the presentation falls completely flat if you actually think about it.
