Another commission from the wonderful CptConfusion ! <3
It was requested that I draw Forest again, and I was happy to be using a character I enjoyed drawing before. Lion's Claw is rather dashing, if I do say so myself. u3u I loved drawing him, and his mane is SO GORGEOUS. HE'S LIKE A FLUFFY, VIRILE DANDYLION. GOSH.
I really love how the background looks on this one. These things are so easy once you have an idea as to what you kind want. xD The Everfree forest has some nice scenery to make up. <3

I'm just super happy that CptConfusion purchased him and made him into something great ;w; Seems like everyone really likes Lion's Claw's design! Maybe I should hope back on the adopts wagon and make more like him :3 It also really pleased me to see that you made the dandelion comment! That's exactly where I got the inspiration for him

I only charge USD as of now, since money's pretty tight, but this particular commission would cost $7 USD without a background. u3u
I'm gonna be reopening my commissions with higher prices, though, so I'm not sure what they'll be, yet. Pony commissions will be cheaper, though, since they don't take as much time as my other works.

With a background, since I just updated my prices on FA, it's $25. It's like a little package, since it comes with a background, and two free ponies. u3u If it's just a simple background, like colors or something, it's just going to be $10 for one.

Lion's Claw looked up from his defeated opponent to grin at the newcomer. "Any reason you're intruding on my hunt?"

She blinked, dim grey hues widening as she gazed at the other curiously. The flame within her heart flicked as she stepped forward, an odd glow about her now. "I...was passing by.." (she's a lantern pony info here: fav.me/d6yaw5j she's based on. ghost story)

Lion's Claw gave one final look at the zebra on the ground before pushing down hom him. "Run, I'm going to find you soon enough anyway." He smirked before getting a closer look at her, the white puffy afro on his wind moving in the wind.
"This far in the woods?"

"I live within the woods." Her response was simple as she turned on her hoof and began trotting amongst the foliage of moss and bush.

Lion's Claw walked along side her, the bushes and foliages parting in front of him as they passed. As each moment passed he observed her and took in her scent. Know where did she live in the woods. "Fine, never seen you before though."

"I'm rarely seen...most ponies only see me when they are lost and need help. " She didn't mind the company, though she wondered how they could get along since she saw him pinning a pony down like prey.

"Well I know I'm not lost, I've been in places a lot more twisted than here." She was intriguing, but she didn't seem dangerous at all. And if she was it wouldn't be that hard to take care of her. 'You see a lot of them?"

"Those foolish enough to go into the depths of darkness .. I lead them back to the light." She stopped at a nearby river and gazed upon its ongoing flow." So why were you attacking that pony?"

"Really? I think that if they get lost on their own fault then they should just stay lost." He stared at the rushing river, taking in each of the fish that swam by. Quickly darting a hoof forward he impaled a fish on his claw. "He intruded on my territory and started messing with MY plants."

With a mere blink she watched as he impaled the creature and would give a sigh. "It may be their fault but its my duty and the reason I live...H'm well I suppose that is justified .."

Slowly eating the fish he quickly turned it into a pile of bones before smiling at her. "They come onto my land and hurt it they pay. Why is it your duty to help them? "

"Just as its your duty for the plants safety, it is mine for lost pony. " She began to trot away once more, looking around as she does so. "Its my only chance to socialize ..."

He trotted with her, not losing a step as they went farther into the woods. "So does talking to me not count as socializing?"

She blinked and shook her head calmly. "I well I suppose it is huh? " A small smile creased on her face as she steps became more jolly.

Lion's Claw moved along, ignoring her smile as it wasn't that important to what they were doing. "How long have you lived here? Anywhere closeby?"

She thought for a moment, Her mind glazed with thought as she tried to remember. It had been so long. She had seen ponies become old and leave this world many times over. How long had she been around? With a shake of her head, she replied. "I never stay in a place for long and honestly I can't recall how long its been."

"I remember how long it's been." He spoke for himself with a matter of fact. "Seen giant oaks come to their prime and fall. Bounded across the plains living in place to place." In fact just being with her and talking with here in this state was proof of his age.

"So... you know how old I am then? How old are you exactly? " This was very interesting to her bow and she was beginning to warm up to him.

"Like I said, I'm very old but I'm not going to tell you." He spoke with a smirk actually enjoying the company of another pony for once.

"That's fine by me, oh, I'm Willow Blight by the way. " How far would they walk though? Soon she saw a ripe apple and reached for it, wanting to share it with the stallion.

"My name is Lion's Claw." He replied softly to her, as though that was a secret almost no one had the right to know.When he saw the apple he reached up ahead of her and offered it up. "Here."

"That's a lovely name- Oh thank you." She broke the apple in half and offered the other half kindly. "here you go." Maybe they could be friends.

Looking at the apple his face quickly darted forward before eating the apple half in a single gulp. Chewing twice he swallowed it before spitting out the seed onto the soft dirt next to them. "Thank you, I also like your name."

"Thank you Lion's Claw ..." She smiled brightly for once as she nibbled on her half, enjoying his company all the more . She didn't have to hide her appearance for once.

He smiled to himself at her enjoying his company. There weren't a lot of ponies that would do that. "Are there any more things tonight that are going to distract you?" He inquired.

"Not truly that I know of. Why do you ask? " Did he wish to have her company still? It was a nice that atleast.

"Making sure that our time isn't interrupting anything of yours." Stating that he found a small apple on the ground and bit into it.

She would nod, beginning to.walk about the area and soon caught sight of a rabbit and watched it quietly. "Hehe ... such a cute creature. "

Lion's Claw followed her from behind and chuckled to himself. The rabbit looked so cute and weak. It would be fantastic just to dig into it and feast. "Looks like it's in shape too."

"Oh you're right, it is in shape. How cute." She had not the slightest idea that he wished to eat the furry creature. After watching it go away, she sighed. "I'm surprised you've stayed this long. I'm quite boring.

He raised a brow at her antics before poking her head gently with a green claw. "No you're not. You're a lot better than many ponies out there. I prefer your company to all of them, especially the princesses."

A tinge of pink hue crossed her cheeks as he complimented her so. "T-thank you Lion's Claw... but the princesses too? Surely they are fun?"

When she mentioned the princesses and angry and furious snarl crossed his face. "No I hate the both of them, especially Celestia it's her fault this place is being torn apart."
Shaking his head he gave her another look. "A minute with them.... just no. I'd rather just talk with you than think of them."

She was taken back from his anger, tempted to almost step away but she stood her ground with now a neutral expression. "I must say they... have made some mistakes but... they did save Equestria from Discord."
"I am grateful you hold me in a better regard though."

"I know that, but the forest would have survived whether they did it or not." He grunted still cursing the both of them. "Maybe they deserve some thanks though."
At her comment he chuckled. "Of course I do, you're good."

"You um.. you're good too...." She couldn't help but feel giddy now, the flame from her chest increasing in glow and heat. "So what do you do for uh fun?"

"What do I do for fun?" He spoke aloud before thinking back on the smell of the trees and the buzzing bees. "I like running through the fields and walking through the woods. Hunting is also fun."

That was a nice thought aside from the hunting. To run amongst the soft fields of yonder, to feel the warmth of the air and the excitement of hooves clamping against the ground. Ah yes, that seemed nice. "That sounds... wonderful ..."

Lion's Claw smiled to himself before touching her fine hair with one of his green claws. "You're welcome to come with me if you want. It'll be in the morning, they're the best then."
