actually a sharpened nail! its a method of printing very similar to etching.

Oh man, I did similar in art class once. I always hated it Etching and printing was definitely not my alley When I did traditional art I still seemed to favour good o'l fashioned painting and drawing the most

The cross-thatch styled sketching really captures shadow effects and the slight facial curves and jawline detail looks great. Good work on this man.
