(Edit - to clarify: TFP, post-Predacons Rising. If you haven't seen it or have somehow forgotten what happened then, come back in a few hours.)
"Hello," she said, and froze.
She felt something twist inside of her as she scanned the color scheme of the mech sitting above her. The feeling wasn't helped when she looked up to his face. That was...those were familiar eyes. And a familiar smile...
"What's your name?" she quietly asked. The mech gave no response, and simply sat there watching her in silence.
"...Fresh out of the Well?" she asked, and he nodded. "...Okay. I'm a friend; I'll take you to somewhere nicer than here."
She approached with care and helped the young mech down from his vantage point. "My name is Arcee. You'll find yours soon."
spun a little tale in my head about how Arcee followed the red-and-blue star to where it fell...

I honestly think that they should have continued after a bit of a time skip in the series, just to see how the others are doing on Cybertron. I can totally see something like this happening. Where they cut the series made me a little angry.

Theres a reason why they are called "alien robots" you know, they are not robots or mindless machines where they specifically have only one or no gender. They are a race of lifeforms who are capable of gender, reproduction, feeling, thinking and death.
