Hello papercrafters and figures lovers!I've been quite busy with the maintenance of the house , and I ended up repairing my old boxes of clay figures.
These are very special to me because
, interestingly these were what attracted me to the world of papercraft 
(yes I know, they have almost nothing to do with papercraft 
). They have about 6 years old and to date have been preserved quite well .I took the opportunity to redo the boxes and to make a few shots so I could show them in more detail .
R66-Y aka Robo is a robot from the future that our heroes found and repaired during his journey to save the world from destruction. It's made with modeling clay and wire, with some metallic paint and sealer to accentuate some parts, also has LED lights for eyes that light up. Measures approximately 11 cm.

Aww, I'm quite impressed at how you finished him. The contrast between the metallic and the leather pieces is really nicely done in my opinion!

Siempre me ha gustado hacer ese tipo de contrastes, ya sabes, como para darle más realismo. Como la piel, la ropa, los accesorios o las partes metálicas.
Lo málo es que como no me gusta como se ven barnizadas todas las partes, tuve que protegerlas del polvo con unas cajitas de acetato

La verdad que queda muy lindo el detalle del contraste, se nota la atención al trabajo manual que le pusiste

Ah que tiempos aquellos cuando la planeación de una figura tomaba un par de días y el desarrollo casí 3 semanas!
No creas, sí tienen algunos defectos de polvo, sobre todo en la piel y unos cuantos golpes y abolladuras en los brazos, a veces las personas no tenián cuidado al observarlos
Esta vez aprobeché para arreglar algunos desperfectos, como que Robo estaba muy inclinado hacia enfrente y cosas por el estilo 
Pero sí me sorprende que hayan durado tanto tiempo sin daños graves
