Never mind about those paramedics! He's not dead!

This is a previously unfinished piece I decided to complete after all. After Bruno and Shelly, this third iteration of 'Human and HTF' shows Delete Lover's fan character Fauna the doe. Once more, I felt a bit uncertain about some of my decisions-- should the character's creator feel that this conflicts with their intentions, then please let me know. Above all, everyone, don't forget that this is just my personal approach.

Fauna's a happy girl. I sometimes imagine her to be the HTF equivalent of Snow White (before the whole dwarf and poisoned apple stuff): cheerful 24/7 and always eager to stop and smell the flowers. In that perspective, having her pluck apples from a tree sounded pretty fitting; the pink colour scheme should add to the whole piece's sugary sweetness. The girl's happy and free attitude is reflected in the flowery dress and slippers (with colours found in Fauna's original attributes). Skin colour felt like a natural choice when trying to match her HTF counterpart. The rest is hard to explain and a matter of imagination.

Yeah, I know Fauna isn't the most popular Net Friend around, but she is one of my personal favourites. I guess that among the crowd of wacky fan HTFs that have been made over the years, sweet and elegant critters just stand out to me. Fauna's design is convincing enough to make her an enjoyable character to see... even after four years, when her creator is no longer an active artist on the Tree Friends forums.

Now, let the speculation begin! Who'll be number 4 in this series? I already have a concept drawing on paper, but it might end up getting lost in space like this piece almost did. No promises, as usual.

EDIT (5/10): Made some changes to match Fauna's original design more closely. Both versions now have freckles, and the necklace colour is different.
