"Hurry, this way! My book says we can find our destination if we follow this path!"Another long hiatus on picture-making for me, and it could have been longer had I not dragged myself to make a PIRL tonight.
This picture was challenging in the fact that the sun was shining at Twilight from the viewer's perspective, rather than behind or above her. I like those other two perspectives because of the tricks I've picked up, but I couldn't do them on this picture. Once again, trial and error was the name of the game. I definitely don't consider this picture perfect, but considering my style of creating PIRL's, I think it turned out pretty decent. I hope you enjoy the picture.

This is one of the most beautiful IMO. The forest, the gentle sunlight, the spirit of adventure... and TWILIGHT!!
Another one of my all-time favorite MLP pictures, if not the first. In any case this is my #1 wallpaper of choice.

They aren't kidding when they're called 'My Little Pony'. That camera angle and perspective is projecting my larger height over Twilight. And I'm short at only 5'6" so I wonder where she would cut off at. Maybe my thighs or lower abdomen?

Yeah, I've had many people over the months tell me I make the ponies too small.Β I still see them at that height (about 3' tall).Β I feel like that is the best height for them.

Looks good! I think the only thing I would change is to rough up the bottom of her hooves a bit, so it would help connect her with the bark on the trail.

Yep, real life can keep a man really busy sometimes.Β These pictures can be a bit of stress-relief from all the work I have to do during the week (unless the picture-making process makes me frustrated. XD)

Aw very pretty. Great work on the shadow/sunlight dapples! And I love that Twilight matches the wildflowers. I think that really helps her look like she belongs in the photo.
