Outstanding! The mummy looks fantastic, perfect level of extended decay, and the princess is just beautiful. I especially like her hair and her exotic eyes (her figure goes without saying).

Haha, thank you! Yeah this was a fun piece to draw. At the time, I wasn't sure if it turned out too well, but since then, a lot of people have told me this is one of their favorite illustrations of mine.

Lately I've been jousting for some good old fashioned Universal Horror ( must be the October air getting to me again) when I come across this pretty thing.
Thanks for reminding me just why any Egyptian Mummy (the Jet Li Chinese one was close, but no cigar) is an automatic badass in my book.

Trust me, I am a fan of all those movies and all those ladies. One you didn't mention which is one of my favorites, and which I have felt tempted to do a tribute illustration of many times, is Twins of Evil, starring the Collinson Twins.

"Twins of Evil" is one my top 5 favorite Hammer horror films. Had it on video tape in the 90's, but it has never gotten an official dvd release in America. I had to track down a non-region dvd bootleg (which I believe was made from a Japanese laserdisk) from a guy who was selling them online. If you're a Hammer fan, you probably already know this... but just in case... "Twins of Evil" is the third film in Hammer's "Karnstein Trilogy", the first two parts being "The Vampire Lovers" and "Lust for a Vampire". Of those three films, "Twins of Evil" has easily the best story, best music, hottest female vampires, and the most graphic violence. And Peter Cushing in one of his best roles ever. Look up "Twins of Evil", Region 0, DVD-R on Google and I'm sure, eventually, you will find somebody selling it.

If you didn't know someone who would do it you could just take the arm and leg that the costume costs and sew them together into a stitched freak undead creature, and then draw that.
