Actually I think I based that house on the cabin where Albert Fish took his female victim. The one he ate. I felt a little guilty about that inspiration. But I've always found the photos of that house especially creepy, so it pops into my mind sometimes. I drew it from memory though so it probably looks very different.

this pic reminds me of an old creepshow movie, where this guy gets infected by space moss and the stuff ends up covering him completely making him sorta of look like the monsters in your picture.
