I like how you have this theme of heads opening up with stars (dreams/goals/gifts?) in a variety of your paintings. They're simple but I think they hold the key to a lot of what you are trying to portray through your art. Wonderful job with your gallery!

Yes, the stars can mean many things, and you mentioned the three big ones. I was praying for inspiration and had a vision of God sending ideas into my head in the form of colorful little stars. That's how they began.

For me it is as if she is being shunned and outcast by the other angels, almost as if she is not wanted (for me, the shadowy figures of the angels seem to be turning their backs to her), and that she must find her own way and tread through something difficult.

I wonder, what is it you're referring to with "girl with wings" and "not angel"? Is it because she has dreams? Is it because she faces waves and turmoils in front of her like "normal" people?

It's because angels are so often portrayed through art (and conversation) as females, yet when you read the Bible cover to cover there is not a single mention of a female angel. They are always men. So, I didn't want people to think this girl is an angel, because she is not. She is just a girl with wings
