The art director either wanted to be wrong or is ignorant of mythology then.
The British Lindworm has 2 legs, and the Norse Lindworm has 2 legs and 2 wings.

Nice creature illustration all the same though.

You're creature poses never cease to amaze me! I make up my creatures as I draw them so posses pose (pun inteded) as a bit of a challenge.

Did you ever try doing a rough thumbnail beforehand? Just to get the overall pose and placement of the creature.

I have but I don't do it as often as I should. I remember Bobby Chew mentioning it in one of his videos a long time ago.

I used to do a quick thumbnail all the time. But now I only do them for full illustrations, or if I just don't have any idea what kind of pose I want to put the character. But I think it was important for me to go through that stage where I thumbnails every little thing. Now I've done so many character and creature illustrations that I can usually skip that stage.
