I just looked at the manual again, to make sure that I am correct in what I said, and it is the EXACT same picture in the book.

The fierce yet beautiful flow in the spine from head to point of the tail. Some very nice scale and spike details, not to mention the fading of what's front and background as of distance in the creature. Very nicely done!

Now this guy looks like he could be an extremely challenging monster to beat. Heck, surviving an encounter with a drake while it's hungry would likely be a challenge!
Can't wait to see the next stage, and how the rest of the body might (or might not) grow to fit the massive tail and large arms~

Really nice concept piece... great movement too. I can see this thing bounding through an open terrain, dunno how agile it would be at slower paces though. It's got a bit of final fantasy flare to it as well which I rather like.

Thank u very much! that's a great observation u made; unless it where swinging it's body around using it's arms somewhat like a gorilla's, it's movement would be rather slow, since most of its weight and speed would be supported and generated by the arm muscles.

How long did it take? hmmmm...i'm not sure. the previous concept only took a couple days, but this one was double the time if u added up the hours cos i couldn't help myself with the details. wat really made it take longer was that i was trying to figure out whether i should make the arms shorter or longer; spent quite a bit of time editing that :s i've no idea why o_O silly silly me
