The textures and colours are just.... I adore them. But that's besides the concept! What cool shapes and mass you chose for it's anatomy. It really feels like it has tangible weight.

i read you didn't use texture overlays, which is beast.
did you use texture reference, though?

Many thnx dude! yup, no texture overlaying used. only photoshoppy effects i did was mess with layer overlays for the background, and a brightness/contrast adjustment layer for the dragon. as for reference, i only used the creature designs that the guy provided for me, as well as a few of my own that i've collected. i rarely, if ever use texture references, unless i know exactly wat i'm looking for and can't paint it right. sometimes it's just faster to overlay the texture, but i'm trying not to do that so i can improve my painting.

lol, thank u! yeh, i used photoshop cs5, but i didn't add any adjustments or editing to it except moving it around the canvas. no texture overlays either
