Princess Mare Puella has come to Gigatopolis to learn more about the surface world... but still gets dragged into helping fight evil from time to time...

Name: Angelfish
Real name: Princess Mare Puella
Powers: Mare is an aquamancer, capable of commanding water to do as she wishes. She also swims incredibly well and can communicate with sea creatures. She also possesses a coral shield that she keeps on her back when not in use and a golden lance that she can conjure when she concentrates.
Outfit/Physical: Mare is tall and thin, with a swimmer’s physique. She has small fins on the back of her heels, elbows, and neck, which she is self-conscious about when on land. Her skin is a pale white, almost yellow, and her hair is long, curly, and orange. She wears what would be best described as a one-piece swimsuit with a fullback - green in color, in a scaled pattern.
Bio: Mare is the princess of the underwater kingdom of Lagoa who was trained from birth to be the defender of her kingdom. Lagoa is an isolated kingdom underneath the Mediterranian sea, whose xenophobic ruler, her father, has instilled in Mare a fear and hatred of outsiders. One day, while out exploring the edges of the kingdom, she happened upon a pair of scuba divers who had discovered the underwater cavern which served as the entrance to the kingdom. Helping the brother and sister return to the surface, Mare discovered that they were not the backward monsters her father had led her to believe - they were honest, nice, and… well, cute. However, for the crime of allowing outsiders to see Lagoa and live, Mare was forced out by her father. She joined the Tula siblings, who offered to help her by bringing her with them back to Gigatopolis. Now, an ”exchange student” at Gigatopolis University, Mare is mostly there to learn more about this new and exciting world. Her training and innate sense of justice do draw her into the struggles of ASFR on occasion, and although she would never really consider herself a true member of the group, she is good friends with Jinx, Kid Dynamo, and Lily
Personality: Bright and happy, interested in the world around her. Mare has a bit of a chip on her shoulder, owing to her banishment. She wants to learn more about the surface world but isn’t convinced it’s that much of an improvement over anything she had back at home. She speaks with a slight “valley girl” lilt to her voice that makes her come across as ditzier than she is. When combat occurs, she is all business - even a little cocky. As the finest warrior Lagoa produced, she is rightly confident in her abilities.
Weaknesses: She needs to be hydrated and will suffer very ill effects if she goes too long without. As a result, heat tends to be a major problem for her. She can be hot-headed and arrogant in combat, which can cause her to be reckless.
