Name: Gor-Gal
Real name: Damexea
Powers: The ability to turn flesh to stone with a focused look from her eyes; above average strength, owing to her gorgon blood.
Outfit/Physical: Damexea is a petite young woman, easily the shortest of the ASFR crew. She wears an outfit that resembles a greek toga - white, with a green snakeskin belt. She also wears a green visor when in combat, to better focus her energies. In her civilian wear, she SHOULD wear green sunglasses, but often doesn’t. Her hair alternates between black and curly and green snakes depending upon her emotions.
Bio: Damexea was born to a long lost den of Gorgons who lived on a Mediterranean island. While the rest of the den viewed humans with contempt and scorn, Damexea found herself drawn to them. With great effort, she learned to control her powers and behaviors, allowing her to fit in among them. Life in this tourist town, however, was not without trouble and strife. Damexea vowed to do something about it. Dubbing herself Gor-Gal, she began to work by night, turning the worst offenders to stone. Rather than endear herself to the public, these actions turned her into a mythic creature feared by the locals. It wasn’t until the intervention of Goddess and the tutelage of the other ASFR heroines that Damexea learned to come to terms with herself and her abilities.
Personality: Originally, Damexea was quite shy and uncertain of herself. After the events of the great gorgon crisis, Damexea became much more confident and public, often seen drinking and carousing in public. As a result, she became very good friends with Angelfish, as the two felt a bond over their “other” status among humans. Her growing confidence and lack of discipline, however, rankled Jinx and Scarlette. She also feels a motherly bond with both Goddess and Mistress Mystica - Goddess is like a cool, forgiving aunt, while Mystica is much more insistent on teaching her to control herself.
Weaknesses: She is very vulnerable to losing control - either emotionally or intoxication. Very poor impulse control.
