Description
This is the first in, hopefully, a new series of short comics starring two new characters to dA: Pippin and Wren.The comic will go more or less in the same vein as Diago's Exploits. Short comics punctuated with jokes with no real plot connecting them. They will mostly consist of Wren asking Pippin questions about his life and what it's like traveling the multi-verse, as Pippin explores one strange landscape after another.
Not too happy with the art in this first one, but with any luck, I'll get better as I get used to the new characters.

At the moment I have no plans on using other people's worlds. Just the ones I make up as a backdrop for my jokes. However, if later I get an idea or get invited, I can always make an apperence.

Hmm. I think it'd be cool to go through and interact with other characters across DA and make jokes... like the old Scooby Doo movies. I can think of a few universes I'd like to visit if I were to do that.

Well I don't know what to do about it.
They're word bubbles. They're white and surround text so you can see it without the the background getting in the way. The whole point is for you to see it so you can read it.

I was just suggesting that you try something or do something about it, so that way it wont be so distracting.
I mean, I had the same problem too(I think I still might, but not as much.)amongst many other problems I have.
I don't know if you have photoshop or what, but what you can try and do is create a layer, and use it to create speech bubbles. When you do that you can lower the opacity, so it wont be so bright.

The aging effect isn't permanent as long as Wren isn't exposed to it for any extended period of time.
Anywho, these guys just feel a little bit awkward for me to draw still. I'll keep working on them.

That was on the right arm. Unfortunately, Pippin only has the left arm. It has a watch, a navigation system, and shoots electricity.

Pippin can travel to any dimension. You'll probably just see him in places I make up, but he can make references to other existing famous stories, games, places, and times. Of course, nothing is set in stone right now. If I get an idea, I can be flexible.
Pippin is a character that has basically done everything and is now bored, desperately trying to find new places with things and adventures he has never seen before. Wren is the foil to Pippin's character. He experiences everything through the wide-eyed viewpoint of the n00b. He is happy, optimistic, and curious most of the time.

No, nothing even close to that.
Pippin never stays in one place long enough to watch loved ones die. It's just that when you travel through dimensions as much as he does, time becomes kind of a lost concept. Time moves at their own rates in different places, so spending a year one place could last a century in others. This is compounded by the fact that some of the adventures he's been in have made him age faster, become younger, and even killed him. How could you possibly say what age he is after all that?
