Based on how well you write all your characters, I assume literally everyone, including the nameless llama guards who's only purpose in the story is to die, lead rich and fascinating lives off panel.
I was surprised that you took up valuable panel space to showcase that not only does she understand the strange situation at hand, but she has a strong moral compass and convictions, things that Diago has tried to put aside.
I think you're also suggesting with this scene that Diago really only needed a couple light nudges to go and do something heroic, despite his protests.

Great entry! It was interesting seeing Pippin and Diago meet for the first time, and how much they differ. But you handled the conversation between the two really well. Looking forward to what's to come!

They're pretty different, but they also have some things in common.
Diago is also a vagabond and that makes him a citizen of Pippin's kingdom.

*snickers* Yeah, Morgan's got a beef with about half of the Force, if I remember right. This is an easy sell. I also like the route you took with Diago. He is the sort who would help because his friends were in trouble, isn't he?

Besides, the villain side really seemed pretty light. I figured they could use a little more support.

your three main characters (pipin, diago, lithia) are all very different and bring something to the table every time.

I like that diversity of character.
It gives me more range as a writer and it makes stories more interesting when you have all these different personalities clashing and contrasting.
And I also like how they're all motivated by different things and yet still heroes in their own ways. Pippin puts the needs of this people (the vagrants) first, but sees Thunder Force as a way of making that mission possible. Lithia is young and idealistic, reflecting the values her parents instilled in her. And Diago just kinda does whatever he wants without much care for a moral code; he just improvises everything and simply listens to what his heart wants.

Also the contrast between how much effort was needed to put in to get hero/villain join was a nice touch

It mostly came down to just not having enough time to do both stories. I barely finished before the end of the month.
But I'm glad you liked it. I may have only used three pages, but I still wanted to use them effectively.
