Description
Well here it is at last. This is a comic that I started at the beginning of 2013. It got delayed, pushed back by other projects, forgotten, rediscovered and only just now has it finally been finished. For a long time now I've wanted to make a comic like this one. I've already made a comic about the first time baby Diago meets Baal , but not one where we get to see Diago hanging out with him and developing that sort of "brotherly" relationship they had.

Sweet, some more of Diago's early years! It's always cool seeing the interactions between these two, especially after seeing them brawl on a regular basis as adults. Love the set up in the first couple of panels. Diago is a born mischief maker.

Diago was surprisingly a rebel to begin with, even as a child.

Yeah, that's Diago there in that drawing there. Just in case there was any confusion.

You can't tell, but it's actually played in a loop.
It's just that seamless.

Nothing but the bleeding edge of cool and hip for Diago!

I cracks me up how he thinks that crude drawing is gonna fool security. I can only guess they are saying, "yeah, he just slipped out again. No no trouble, he'll go back in a little while."

See? This is Diago and he's clearly still in his cell.
Nothing to see here!

Kind of a slow build up here in the beginning. It was kind of my attempt at setting up the atmosphere.

This must be Diago in his rebellious teenage years.
Although, I can't really think of a time when Diago wasn't rebellious, so maybe that's redundant.

The pacing of this comic is a little slower than my usual Diago comics.

So I see Diago's personality was already well-set from a young age.
In other news, cool comic - I like the transition from panels 5 to 7 a lot, very "crafty young bastard" as one would imagine Diago was.

Diago was a little more positive and a little less cynical back then, though.
But then, we all were, weren't we?
