It looks like I'm going to be making some exterior shutters for a house this summer, so here's The Sunday morning design project: design six exterior shutters, 6 feet tall by 2 and a half feet wide, for a double window unit, some simple to build, some more complex. To be executed in rot-resistant cypress or cedar, stained and finished with danish oil.Related content

I agree that #6 is the best. However, all of them would add a lot of charm to a house to the right house.
