Beware, some heavy character profiles ahead-

Tomonaga (Heracross): The "traitor" Bug Champion; hails from Azalea Kingdom. After being branded a traitor by Kuwagata who tried to take his place as top general in a conspiracy and forsaken by his own kingdom, Tomonaga now seeks to clear his name. However, as an honorable samurai, he seeks to first repay his debt by accompanying Mantis on his journey before returning to Azalea to clear his name. A strong, noble type who is headstrong, Tomonaga is the current leader of the Heracross clan. He originally set off with his best friend Prayest to compete in the Indigo League and started “Team Wrecker,” acting as the leader before returning as a champion to lead his clan to victory in the Azalea War. He is a master of the legendary martial arts belonging to his Heracross lineage, known as the Demigod-Hercules style.

Prayest (Scizor): A very easy going and upbeat, charismatic warrior; the best friend of Tomonaga and Vice-Captain of “Team Wrecker,” he left his Scyther clan to find strength beyond that of the bug Pokemon. He is a master of the legendary martial arts belonging to the Scyther clan, known as Saber-Mantis style. Along his travels with Tomonaga, he met a Torkoal engineer who offered him the power to become stronger, and thusly he allowed himself to become the prototype and evolved into the very first Scizor in existence. After mastering his new power, he became a champion fighting in the Indigo League and returned with Tomonaga to their homeland. With their home in disarray, the two fought against the revived legendary monster, Genesect where he sacrificed himself to bring down the horrid monster. Before departing, he asked Tomonaga to promise to protect the bug kingdom and to assure that his son becomes an honorable warrior. Prayest is held in high regard by all bug Pokemon for his heroic deeds for what he had done to save their kingdom from the rampaging Genesect.

Tanto (Snorlax): A strange Snorlax from Kanto, he previously swam across the seas to travel back to Vermillion but became caught in a whirlpool upon seeing an image of the "Legendary Guardian of the Sea." He was found washed up on the shores of Olivine and awoken by the smell of the special berries Tomonaga carried. With a big heart, he joined the team and his old friend Tomonaga to help them on their journey and to resolve their issues. His only payment would be being able to travel and try many new cuisines along the way.

He is very peaceful and fun-loving, bringing his teachings from Kanto to the region of Johto. He is sometimes thought of as a "Buddha." However, he is no ordinary big-bellied food connoisseur, as he had climbed mountains in search of the teachings of Ho-oh, and trained himself to fight against the toughest rock, ground, steel and fighting types. When left with no option but to fight, Tanto shows the devastating "strength" he has through the sumo-like arm thrusts that are able to send boulders flying. However, that is not his only strength as he has trained and meditated under waterfalls, mastering the move Zen head butt. Throughout his expeditions in Kanto, he has become known as the Master of the Zen Fist. He earned this name fighting alongside Tomonaga and Prayest in the Indigo League as one of their teammates.

Tabitha (Gengar): A firm, aloof spellcaster who is not afraid to speak her mind. She was a devoted maiden to the temples of Ecrutek who set off to compete in the Indigo League. However, journeying alone, she felt that she would not have the ability to win the championship on her own. Having met Tomonaga and company, she joined their team to further her own means. Spending time with Tomonaga through their travels, she grew to love him very much, and although she has a hard time expressing it, she devoted her strength to the team to show her support. After parting with the title of champion, she made Tomonaga promise to come visit her again one day as she returned to her temple. To show his devotion to that promise, he chipped off a piece of his sword and gave it to Tabitha, saying that one day he would return so that he can be whole again, hinting at his own affection for Tabitha.

Zian (Metagross): A Metagross from the land of Hoenn. He originally met Tanto and studied under him as his disciple in the art of Zen Fist. Shortly after meeting Tomonaga, his desire to become stronger to protect the weak grew, and he ended up joining the team alongside his master. After becoming a champion, Zian returned to his lands of origin to become a champion knight. He is a caring, kindred soul with a strong desire to help others, albeit he is a bit clumsy in dealing with others. His kind, chivalrous, clumsy nature however, has drawn all of the affection of the bashful Tiama. He is often found quietly meditating in caves to strengthen his concentration and psychic power. After running into Tomonaga again, he is happy to lend his strength to his former leader of the legendary “Team Wrecker.”

Tiama (Tyranitar): A bashful, fight-crazed swordswoman who is easily upset by the words of others. Although she is seen as barbaric, her power is revered by many in Johto. She is called the “Queen of Mt. Silver” and acts as its guardian, keeping the peace on the mountain between all the powerful entities that preside there. Having met Tomonaga, Prayest, Tanto and Zian in their travels, she came to do battle with them when they said they were training to become stronger before competing in the Indigo League. After losing, Tiama decided to accompany them to find stronger opponents, and competed alongside them as a member of “Team Wrecker.” While competing alongside them, Tiama grew to become very fond of Zian, whose chivalrous nature impressed her and in turn caused him to treat her like a lady as opposed to the barbarian she was often known to be.
