Incarnadine, meaning crimson of the metal, referred to when talking about coat of arms. Some olden English for you kind folk that drop by and check out my work.

Anyways, here's some concept work for my Pokemon Gijinka story in the making. Also, call it my "Redeux," not redux. Deux as in French for "2," and also playing it off of Deus meaning "God," as this should be a step up and another level in badassery up, not just an outfit change.

Scarlet (Charmander)- The little sister. Aspires to be like the beautiful Eevee sisters who are heralded by beauty contest competitors everywhere. Wears the "blue scarf" which increases the beauty of its wearer in contests. Although she loves her brothers, she is not interested in battles and doesn't like to see her brothers fight.

Red (Charmeleon)- The middle child. Rival to Blue (Blastoise), and love interest to Green (Venusaur), as shown by the "miracle seed" he wears around his neck. Competing in the annual Pokemon League Championship, he is trying to become a champion just like his friend/rival, as well as evolve to the next level to become strong like his older brother. Unbeknownst to him, he is also an heir to the legendary bloodline of the secret ability "Dragon Blaze."

This ability has caused the Charizards of olden times to be revered like dragons. It only triggers when Charizards are below 1/8 of their HP, and all of their fire-type moves double in power and turn into dragon type moves. Overcoming the resistance many water-types have against their moves, and putting them on equal footing with dragons without sharing their ice weakness made them extremely powerful.

Crimson (Charizard): The eldest son. A previous champion of the Pokemon League, he has returned to compete in the current championship, not only to push his brother beyond his limits, but also to unlock his Dragon Blaze ability. Although he comes off as a cold brother and only interested in pushing his brother around, he is only keeping their rivalry going to make his brother become stronger. He wears the "Draco Plate" that is embedded into the armor on his right arm, an heirloom of the Incarnadine Charizard family because it boosts the power of the Dragon Blaze ability he has already mastered.
