Spiderman - It took me 3 1/2 hours just to draw in the lines on his costume, but the rest is pipe-cleaners.He is 4.5 inches tall.

I don't get how this is made of pipe cleaners... It looks more shiny, like it's made out of wired beads!

I used 3mm pipe cleaners as opposed to the 'normal' 6mm size where I feel it is necessary - they show more wire because there is less fuzz wrapped around...have a look at Lady death [link] I used 3mm pipes for her as well so that I could get more detail and it looks like she has leather boots on. I alternate between the two sizes, depending on what material I am trying to duplicate(it also depends on what colours I have available to me in either size)
So far, I have not had any need for the really fuzzy pipe cleaners(10mm and 15mmm...perhaps if I make an animal with a fluffy tail I might incorporate those too...)

He actually DOES balance; his right arm is stable enough to support him in a handstand. Perhaps I will hunt my friend down and take more pictures. I will balance him on something small...
