And the second in my (probably) series of Steven Universe Lanterns, in this case Peridot as a yellow lantern a.k.a. member of the Sinestro Corps.With how every bit of information about her up to the point of the invasion terrified the gems, I thought the yellow light of fear would be just fitting for her.
Additionally I simply love her design and just wanted to draw her.

Now that I give this another lookover, I only have one question.Β
Is the ring on the Limb Enhancer finger-crystal the real one, or just another construct made by the ring?

I'd say it's the real ring. The Limb Enhancer in this one isn't a construct, I made this picture when the limb enhancers weren't known in canon yet and my current position on it is that she just put the ring on while wearing them.
There is a lot of precedent for Lanterns essentially wearing the ring on some sort of containment suit or something like that, so why not?

I'd see Yellow Diamond either being a Yellow Lantern(instilling terror into anyoneΒ who opposes her before she utterly and quite LITERALLY Crushes them in her hand), or a BLACK Lantern(Being likely to Mercilessly Crush the Opposing Gems and/or ANYONE ELSE who intends to STOP her, and Regretlessly Killing anyone who dares to interfere with her)!!!!!!!!!!

Because I am a great fan of Steven Universe. I have so many OCs to drax like Howlite and his sis' Amazonite forming Turquoise, Blue (it's me, yeah.) a Half-Gem hybrid and his grand-mother Obsidian. And blue's fusions with Peridot, Lapis and Jasper and even with the Crystal Gems. (in order: Gaeastone, Muscovite, Agathe, Aragonite when w/ Garnet, Sillimanite when w/ Amethyst and Prehnite when w/ Pearl)

I'd love to, they're relatively fast to make and lots of fun! Unfortunately I'm currently having a hard time determining what lantern corps most of the Crystal Gems would be part of, especially Pearl and Amethyst...

Garnet would be willpower, easy. A strong argument could be made for love, though. Jasper would also be fear.Β

I don't really want to repeat myself with lantern corps too much... And i would actually go more for Red lantern with Jasper.

And going for completion sake, and since you never said anything about not repeating Gems...
I think Jasper would be great for Indigo as well, since the idea there is that they find people with NO compassion, and the ring forces them to feel nothing but. Sounds like a pretty good description of Jasper. And like I said before, Garnet would be good for Violet. If you wanted to do a group shot of them all, though(which would be SO cool and I'd favorite it in a second) then Rose for Violet is the other obvious choice.
Gaah, I keep getting ideas as I write this xD If you are willing to do certain Gems twice, I think a Black Lantern Rose would be delightfully fucked up!

And yeah, I'm gonna do Rose as violet probably, even though I actually thought about black lantern too xD But I think I'm gonna stay with one per colour EXCLUDING white and black... at first at least^^
And I don't think I'll repeat gems... at first, let's see how things go on, I mostly do this to get better at the artstyle of Steven Universe actually, at least that's how it started xD
Here's where I come across some problems tho, since Jasper, Peridot, Steven, Rose and Garnet may be easy, but Amethyst and Pearl are REALLY difficult... I'll probably go with compassion for Pearl and Avarice for Amethyst (I wanna focus on gems and exclude the human characters... again, at first, let's see what I do when I'm done^^), I am open to your suggestions there though!
And yeah, the indigo tribe does control people without any of it, but I think I'll stay with the emotions these characters best represent^^
