I miss doing pixel art and have done any in over 2 years. With the introduction of this new bandwagon - the Pixel ID Fighters - it was my chance to bring back my love of pixel art in it's full power!!So here we have.... Me and Rewind. And of course Waffles too.
What do I have to say about it? Nothing but I'm happy with it and I wanted to keep working on it because I was having so much fun!!!
Some fun facts for you :
- Robyn (me) does not have a Trident as a real weapon - everyone just told her that it fit her love of animals
- Robyn does wear outfits like those (I'm actually wearing the exact same outfit today in honor of me finally finishing this) down to the last little tiny detail :
- a "Nobody Hoodie" from KH2 that I made a year ago complete with the two buttons
- new loopy black earrings (that I didn't own until this was almost done)
- My new orange plaid skirt
- My ORCA NECKLACE!! And various other jewelry.
- Rewind is loosely based on me - just with shorter, not so "big" hair and with an orange streak that I want SOO bad
- Rewind's outfit will be made and will be worn... eventually
- Waffles is my fish that I draw with everything in school; I am known for him and I love his fat self so.
- The quote is one my friends made up for me, saying that an arcade would loose money with me because I can play the same game of tetris for a LOOONG time without dying - HORRAY!
- I almost switched speed and skill cuz I'm quick, but just lazy - which is why my will is so low. I'm SOO lazy.
But yeah, there's my pixel ID everyone. TAKE THAT!

that's freakin awesome! they look more like a side-croller or RPG sprites than fighting game sprites...but that's still frikkin awesome!

Excellent pixel art skills; the shading is really good. There's a lot to see in this piece, but not so much that it's too busy. You have a very "Arielesque" style in your face here, which works for me, especially since you're a fan for aquatic animals.
On a small note, Waffles is so cute!

Eather way isnt it nice when after a while you go back to doing something you love and the joy of being able to create something the way you want to create it?

took me a couple days actually - if i had just sat down and did it all in one shot - but i dragged it out over a week so i could work on it during breaks from doing homework
and yes, i love pixel art and i miss it very much. it was great to be able to go back and do it again!

overall, great job kid. i still think you should switch the weapons on the two characters, but i guess u never listen. and WTF is up w/ the black goldfish w/ blond hair??? @_@
