A close up of my Daspletosaurus, whose full body you can see in this shot fav.me/dbtup3zI did some extensive work on the gloss and specularity map to get the facial details more visible.

Hmm, not-so-little Das in that case, if he had survived that volcanic eruption.

i wish he did. but are there any evidence that a juvenile Daspletosaurus got killed by a volcano?

Hmm, I can't say that I know about any evidence in the fossil record of a juvenile Daspletosaurus. that died due to a volcanic eruption.
I remember just a bone bed with three Daspletosaurus, where a juvenile was together with an adult and another Daspleto of intermediate size. I think those served as inspiration for Dinosaur Planet's episode "Little Das Hunt".

Thank you a bunch. I got the gloss and specularity map in Blender working in my setup, so the shading looks less uniform, but appropriate for the different parts like the skin, feathers, and the gums.
