Description
After a fun talk with a friend I felt like creating a nice male Allosaurus.
I had the following features / conditions to factor in:
- base him on the colors of your own AllosaurusΒ
- he should have a mane of feathers / maybe a coat of feathers
- draw him like you would fall in love with him
So, I tried to visualize a male with a decent neck, some white highlights around the neck, which a repeated by some display filaments atop of the tail. Crests are elaborated and he is in a well-fed condition. And somehow, I can feel how warm feelings for him bubble in me
I also made a time lapse video of the painting process to demonstrate the way, how I draw my dinosaurs with Gimp.

No. I simply do not see dinosaurs as hairy lizards. After all, they are more closely related to birds and crocodiles.
