They were in the reference sheet, that was provided. In this case it is accurate in terms of the character than in terms of paleontological accuracy. I know, that scutes come from feathers, that were arested in their development.

For doing art I have to isolate myself, but it payed off in form of the lovely drawing. Luckily, the character is based of a real Ceratosaurus. An anthro Ceratosaurus would have been a bit of a challenge.

Well, you have to thank nadairead for coming up with the design for her Cerato. Nadairead and I agreed on leaving out any sort of complex background, so I tried to make the character pop out by vibrancy and some blue light, that traces its shape. *bows down in gratefulness*
