I always want to draw these two sleeping a`,bdshbasbcfaslbc what's wrong with me?I always have trouble thinking of some chaotic mischief Discord sould be doing. I took the idea from this picture for the background: lh4.ggpht.com/_t4lMIR9g6BI/TC-β¦
Anyway.. I forgot for a while that Discord is cool. I remember it now

I've also been reading (and quite enjoying) "Chaotic Neutral", where you used this as the cover image.
Actually, it was only because of the little tid-bit that said "cover art is mine" that I got curious.
Because on a brief first glance over the story-page, my initial impression was "random generic adventure, with random image stolen through Google".
Ehehehe. Err.
The quality of the artwork speaks of time and dedication put into the creative act - thus, a certain level of quality may be also expected in the written word. Therefore, "great cover image by story-author = higher likelihood of people reading it".
... Problem is, you can't tell it apart from all the thousands of people who just google something and use that. 
I mean, it's a very lovely image - but for the fimfiction cover version, I'd suggest adding the story-title to it to make it more "distinct" in that regard.

I think you're completely and totally right. I've been thinking of actually drawing a proper cover for Chaotic Neutral since this image actually just started out as a placeholder until I could do so. However, now it's been such a long time, if I change the cover art I wonder if it would be jarring for people who have been following the story for a long time.
I'm drawing for a convention in a couple of weeks, but I think after that I probably will sit down and make a proper cover for myself with a title. I think you've given me some veru good reasons to do so that I didn't think of before.

I too am both artist and MLP-fanfic writer myself. 
Well, actually I was thinking you could just add a title text to the image you already have. There seems to be enough space to add one in the "sky"-portion of the image. 
Just be sure the title doesn't look like it's been plainly added in Microsoft Paint, and you should be good to go!

aww, i dunno why, but i love the interactions between these two.
just started watching MLP:FiM and was prepared to hate it, but i love it. Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash are my favorites.

Of course, it wasn't until Fluttershy wake up did she realized that Discord had replaced the trees' leaves with clouds, and vice versa. Discord ended up getting thoroughly scolded for nearly ruining the homes of countless tree-living critters.
