Description What I love most about this is that for once I'm not being whimsical. This is completely cannon


I believe it's book 14? (My memory fails me). The story's called "A Funny thing happened on the way to the festival". I refuse to give more context as to what the heck is happening beyond that read the book!

I've been wanting to draw this picture for ages XDDD

I'm not very good at drawing children without them looking like they're at least 14, so I tried to focus on that a little more. Tomoe kinda looks like I was trying to draw a chibi version on her or something but I like how Usagi turned out.

To blow my own horn, I love both their faces XDD but Usagi's whole pose makes me laugh.

Again, read the book because I'm really not exaggerating that much with this scene. Except I left out the part where Usagi insulted Tomoe by telling her her eyes are really big.

Incidentally, I haven't read "Mother of Mountains" or "Tomoe's Story" yet so no spoilers plz.
