Description This script has much versatility. It was enspired by my fractal entitled 'Destiny' (hence the name of the script). Much like 'Destiny', which stemmed from a tweaked Checkerboard fractal, this script can also give Checkerboard-like results; but as you will see in looking at some of the examples I have included here, a variety of results can be achieved.
I suggest you be adventureous with this script; don't be afraid to try something new and different each time. Interesting results can be achieved by running it on old parameters, or even by selecting 'new flame' in the editor window, changing one of the linear transforms to blur, and then running the script (this yields similar results to the preview image).
Now here's what I've uploaded so far:

LadyLyonesse [link] had the following to say about the script:

I like this script very much. I found that it makes great flames with any of the mandalas, fairy eggs, some of the woven pinwheels from Liz ([link] ) and symm tubes. ... I didn't find that it made anything too good with the spiral or circular flames, just 'tree-ring' like thingies.

Here are some examples of her work with the script:

one-tough-one [link] made the following comment:

I really enjoyed playing with this one.
Some of my tips for others using this are:
--Try negative numbers and large and small numbers...
--Start with a really bright gradient as destiny seems to darken colors...
--The flame you start with before you run the script makes a big difference on what you end up with...
--This is also a good script to use after using other scripts...

Here are some examples of his results:

Unfortunately, lisarenee60046 was unable to get back to me with her comments, but here's what she came up with using the script:

uhm.. is this for a specific program or is it universal for all fractal programs? If it's just for one kind, which one does it go to? Hopefully I can use it with Apo 2.08 because that's the one I'm learning right now.

(Thanks for tolerating the noob questions!)

Sorry for being a scripts nub, but once I download it, how do I use it? Is it a PS plugin or something? I googled "asc format" but it just starts talking about the ascii text specification... A script's not much use without something to run it on!

Thanks in advance. I love some of the results others have generated! I'm looking forward to making my own swirly things!

It's to be used with Apophysis. Apophysis is a fractal program. It's a free, open-source, and available on sourceforge.

Thanks for this, Tom. I haven't tried it yet, but if it is like your others, it will be fun!
