Description
I love this effect and would like to share it! Tell me what you think and share your creations!Includes explanations for pretty much all the command lines in the script that is relevant, so every one should be able to understand the structure of this flame/effect
Many thanks to nightmares06's tutorial on the flat surface
Requires Apophysis with a 3D plugin, the script was written with Apophysis 7X. You will also need to following plugins:
- Hemisphere
- Bipolar
- Wedge
HOW TO USE:
1. Place extracted file in "Scripts" folder in your Apo directory, or anywhere that you save your scripts, actually
2. Open any version of Apo3D
3. Ctrl+E and Selected the Script
4. Fire Away! (F9)

Hey guys for those of you using it now with 7x
I have found a bug. Linear was removed and linear3d was changed to linear. Maybe removing the lines which set linear to 0 and changing linear3d to linear could work

Hi. I'm using Apo #D Hack and I had to remove following lines:
Transform.bipolar := 10+ random *20;
Transform.wedge := 0.01+ random *0.03;
Transform.wedge_angle := 1+ random *3;
Transform.wedge_hole := 0+ random*-3;
Transform.wedge_count := 30+ random*63;
Transform.wedge_swirl := 0.1+ random*0.4
Transform.Weight := 0.1+ random*0.3;
because F9 blocked that lines.
Do you know, why?

hmm. i'm not quite sure, it might be because you don't have those plugins

you're using a 3D apo, right? all you should need aside from that would be: hemisphere, bipolar, and wedge variations. but it seems like you already have hemisphere since your apo's not complaining about the hemisphere lines. cheers!

It looks like an awesome script. If I could ever get the bloody plugins to work, I'd use it extensively!

OMG, it soo worked great. I'll definitely be rendering some of these fractals now. Thank you so much!

I used it with the creation of this fractal: [link] Thank you so much and I can see that there is going to be a LOT of potential with this script.

Well, I don't want to be accused of just changing the gradient and making it my own. It really was awesome and I like to throw things around.

For some odd reason, it keeps giving me a syntax error at 1,1. Not sure what is happening, but I moved it to my scripts file for my 3D fractals as well as the scripts in 7X but it keeps bringing back that error. Any help would be appreciated, not sure what is going on.

oh wow, thanks!
this is called a fractal, a visual "flame" derived from mathematical formulas

I know what a fractal is, this one just looks cooler and doesn't repeat like the other ones do. If you like fractals try xaos, it generates fractals and it's pretty cool
