Description
These are my brand new sculptures that I'm going to be using as part of the base for my custom pony work (information coming soon!). These are obviously works in progress, made of super sculpey polymer clay with foil armatures. Here are my plans for each one:
(Back Row, left to right)
Sitting Pony: Pinkie Pie with party hat
Sitting Pegasus: Derpy, thinking about putting an envelope in her mouth or muffin on her head.
Crouching Pony: Fluttershy with Angel Bunny
Standing Filly: Applebloom
(Front Row, left to right)
Laying Pony: Twilight Sparkle with book
Laying Pegasus: Sleeping Rainbow Dash
Sitting Filly: Sweetie Belle (Who's growing on me and may be my favorite CMC)
These are all made without armatures in the legs. The ones I'll be working on next will be more action-y posed. I want to make a rearing Applejack and possibly an applebucking one too.
If you have any suggestions for good character poses, let me know!

Foil armature first, I sculpt the heads and bodies as one piece, then add the legs on in the pose I planned. If its standing, you need to add extra support to the legs. Sitting or laying poses are much easier to start with.
