Meaning:

Something that can never be taken away from me
Art is my life, my only friend, and a memory that creates more memories

This is a traditional piece, I made it as my final for my life drawing class in the fall, it is a double self-portrait, im drawing myself, drawing myself..... drawing.... myself and there are a couple of little self-portraits within the picture
also the little yellow sticky in the left corner says "finish later" im sure you all can relate to that. i sketched a piece i started 3 years ago and never finished (that one has a story worth telling) if you want to know it send me a note and i'll gladly tell you
the original size is 22X30

I didn't finish it on time so I was forced to finish it by the time the art exhibit opened so I can enter it in... to make a story short I won first prize in colored pencil
that's the most recognition i've had for my art hahahaha
I did have it for sale but it was for $300 I was talked into selling it, thank god no one bought it.
Im very attached to it, i made a goal that i reached while keeping a close family member in mind you know who im talking about
he supported my art like no other and told me to reach for the moon, i think he would of been pissed if i sold it because he would of wanted it in his home

Medium: colored pencil and a little oil pastel to give the floor a smooth touch
Time Slaved: 20-30 hours.... it's a really big picture
no ref used, but staring at my own body

it's not the quality of the picture, that's the lighting portrayed in the picture XD
also sorry for the watermark i've had an outburst of my work being stolen recently so i just want to take some precautions
