Speed painting number 2!my boyfriend choose the topic yet again, this time it was a person (THANK GOD!!!) I hated the last one because it was nothing but armor. Again the time limit was 2 hours, there are a lot of mistakes and I wish I had more time to allow more detail. This calls for an epic portrait of Captain Kirk!
Done in photoshop, finished yesterday in 1 hour and 55 minutes 
This is Chris Pine as Captain Kirk from the new Star Trek movies, I utilized a still to capture his proportions.

This man. I have been wanting to draw him ever since I saw his first role as Kirk. And that hot pink you use on the side of his face!! You know I'm all 'bout dem cray cray colored light sources xD You're so freakin' good with skin, man, I can see all the subtle build-ups of colors... +_+ Dat nose. Dem lips. Much beauty.

Woaaaaa... in small thumbnail pic, and by distance, almost looks like an actual photo than a speedpaint
Loved the light effects ^^ Looks like he is being lit by two different sources, an white lamp and a red one 
Also the face expression, so life -like ^^ Eyes a bit... expecting something
