Yeah, very sad, when we used to do things with dye sublimation we had to get specially coated mugs then print them ourselves.. and even then they were expensive....

Maybe mugs are just expensive in general...deceptive though, as you would think they were cheap to make >.π: 0 β©: 1

I suspect it may be that they have to be handled so much and have special coatings in order to print on them. I would think the ones that are actually manufactured with the image a sort of fused on coating is probably cheaper since they can be make in much larger quanties and by bigger machines.... sad though, I can think of so many things that would be great on mugs.

Oh man, I agree with you! Also, mugs are things everyone wants and needs...And I think you are probably right, and that we could do cheap mugs, but they wouldnt have the coatings and such, and possibly look like someone just came along and doodled with marker or something xD There's something to be ranted about here...something including consumer expectations, inflation, and a need for more magical technology because I WANT IT THAT WAY!

Makes perfectly fine sense to me. I mean I could do with a few good wizard mugs and some glow in the dark mugs and a few fairy mugs and certainly a dozen dragon mug.. oh and some nude nymphs dancing mugs...

XDDDD god that would be cool! And some sort of mug where after you drink the contents, there is one of your nymphs dancing on the inside bottom would be a nice surprise too!

possibly a Naiad
I know some of my collaborative models in my stock would find that particularly fun.
