Description
Tentivu is a large continent dominated by a culture all about cardinal directions and the four elements. There's ten countries spread over four kingdoms - one for each element.
The geographic extreme points of each kingdom (north, east, south and west) are of special significance, and from them emanates a grid of curvy Ley lines and concentric circles illustrating the sheer magical power gathered in those places.
Distances are vast, but wealthy and magically talented people can get by using a form of magictech that allows them to shorten the travel time considerably.
This map is only a small part in a massive world building project, and I consider it a huge honour to be part of it, even in such a modest way.

Don't you thing it looks a lot like Númenor?

I can definitely see some similarities now you mention it, but doesn't Númenor have five peninsulas instead of four? Here everything is about cardinal directions, and focal points of astral/magical energy, which can be found on the four extreme points. I don't think Númenor has any of that. (though I'm no Númenor expert)
Anyhoo, for this map I was just the artist; the shape and feel of it was dictated by my client. He had an awesome amount of back lore too, and while I only know a teeny bit of it, the shape of this continent (this rough four point star) is absolutely necessary for it to work. I had a ton of fun drawing it too!
