Description
I had an idea the other day when I was working on something else, and needed to get it out.I'm not exactly sure what to name this. To be honest, I'm quite sure no one ever made one, because it can't work, but I'm going to do my best to figure this out.
That all being said, this is a double barrel, dual interlocking cylinder revolver. Twelve shots of a large caliber bullet guaranteed to rip your hand off, and anyone in front of it. I think.
I feel the need to see this thing through, and figure out how it might actually work.
Thoughts welcome. I'll state that I'm no weapon designer, and I've only been on this for a few hours so far spread out over a few days, but wanted to get something up, I seem to be bouncing between a lot of projects right now.
So I'm still working on it. If you're a gun buff, don't over analyse it, you'll hurt yourself.

Well I am certainly digg'n on the idea. For a double barrel revolver to work you need two hammers along with the cylinders, the hammers have to align with and strike the back of each cylinder. The way its set up you might need a hammer that is right side up and upside down. If it was a double action revolver (meaning the trigger both cocks and fires the gun) the cylinders would have to fire together, if it was double/single or single action only then an inverted hammer for the lower cylinder would be a little awkward to cock back and might require the use of your second hand. It seems to me that it should be a double/single with a primary hammer and a secondary hammer that is bobbed and that simultaneously engages when the primary is cocked; both cylinders would always fire together in this scenario.

So noted. You looked far into it, however I am glad of the thought put into this. So, I'll take into consideration your thoughts here, and I'm on it.
