Description So its been a long wait, mostly cause of my bouts of art-depression, but I finally got around to completing this. I can't promise that the next one in the series will be up any time soon though, for multiple reasons, but mainly cause I'm waiting for word from my beloved critic of awesomeness, to see if she can spot things I gotta fix.

This checked out though and if there's one thing I'm not happy with, its how Jane (this character) has suddenly turned out to be the cutest of my characters somehow.
Jane is after all, a very hurt and cold woman; when she first appears in the book, she has just survived a bad accident (hence the torn uniform jacket and jeans) and is still getting over having divorced her husband after finding him cheating on her. All sorts of things going on in that cute head in other words.

On an art note; Jane has yellow parts in her hair, but somehow, when I vectorized this image, they seem to have bled out into skin color; this wasn't intentional DX I'll have to use more intense colors next time.

Edit I changed the nose and mouth, gonna keep tackling and re-vamping some of these whenever I feel like it :3

This is really good, the only suggestion I would make is to bring the left buttock(her left) down a bit, as it would be hard for her to make such a position with her upper torso that upright, also I know it's tradition to go with the visible eye under the hair in manga but imho she'd look better without but tbh your milage may vary on that. There's nothing wrong with having a character that is hurt, cold but cute looking, heck there's a trope for it 'break the cutie' - [link]

Good suggestion but I just found the pose pretty alluring (again I'm guilty of going too firmly by references) I would say she's resting a lot of weight on her foot and ready to press down, like to stand up; but then again, that was just what I was going for, the pose was purely erotic in the reference material.
Oh I don't know, I like the visible eye, at least for this style, I'm not gonna stay with it for more serious works but the "New Line" works shall have them at least -well unless even more people dislike it :3-

XD oh wow, I've stuck oΒ΄to the much dreaded TV-tropes, ohnoes :3

You got a pic of the reference pose you used? So I can see?

Yeah, I can see the issue here. It's that left leg, and the arm, you can see more of the upper arm and the left leg is at a different angle. It's hard to work to references I know, and they always turn out different to the original.

Well sure, I always want to mix it up to make it more of my own, rather than purely eyeballing; else there's no point; also, my characters have vastly different proportions than real life people so I find it fun to try and work them into amalgamations of poses that I take from real life models.
My hope though; is that what I draw and paint still works out in the end.

I still welcome critique, but as my good friend told me to do; I'm soon going to start exaggerating what I'm going for, just to easier get my point across of what I want my characters and stuff to look like :3 stay tuned for that.
