Would that be the Mazda by any chance???
From feint recollection (from hearing my teenage boys talk cars) there is a car (I'm thinking Mazda) with a rotary motor which is supposed to be good... do I get a gold star? or am I wrong... LOL

Full marks!
Australia has one of the biggest following of them - old school Mazda/rotaries anyway. They spend rediculous amounts of money on them... i'm talking the amounts that could land you a Ferrari! a cheap one anyway

Awesome. Would you mind explaining what you did to the image in Post to give it so much punch? I know its B&W besides the car but I want to know why it looks so amazing? Is it a high pass filter? Or did you just crank up the contrast... Teach me!

I find blending different edits of photos works a treat... say one of high contrast, another with less and the other with a little colour Also used a polariser while shooting this which made the sky crazy dark against the clouds.

I actually like the foreground. it gives depth to the photo, making it even more dramatic than just a cool sky shot =]
And yeah, they were the years when they made good cars like that. When I was young I wanted a Torana or Kingswood. ended up getting an old Hilux...

I'm just used to using a foreground i guess Oh yes, they haven't made decent cars since the 70's in my opinion. My first 4 cars have been from that era!

Good, dramatic shot. If I was being picky I'd say a little less foreground and a bit more of that fabulous sky.
