Some people setting themselves on fire by the beach came up to me and ~bmjones and thought 'we' were crazy... its just a television

Hi Cain, can I use this shot in a video that i'm putting together, I would need to cut out the screen and make this transparent so I can overlay some old band footage.

i love this pic. but i have to disagree w/ the previous critique very much so (sorry). theres a lot of squares, all over. this picture is very linear. the lines from the board, the rails, and even more linear w/ the perspective of the pier.
also, juxtaposing the television in the pier is interesting, but i don't agree that it brings much contrast between subject/background. also, i dun get the relationship of the juxtaposition in a conceptual sense. usually juxtaposition is bringing two random things awkwardly together, but usually its tied in somehow with sarcasm, satire, or wit e.g. pop art. but thats just a common thread of juxtaposition, not necessarily necessary... maybe you only wanted aesthetics here.
the perspective leading to the vanishing point is kinda distracting too (myopia helps against that tho) since it kinda draws your eyes towards the top of the picture and away from the subject, but to be honest, idk if you could fix that since i like the composition as is. even though the angle is very straight forward, i still like it. nothing can be 100% perfect rite and sometimes 99% is the best possible 
lighting is very good too. great feel. i love this pic a lot. great work!
