Shockwave stars in my Transformers fan graphic novel concept "Forever and a Day", and has been stuck on Cybertron by himself for a very long time. To help him manage the place he's built a small army of drones, each with a limited form of AI. They aren't sentient, but can scout on their own following a complex program and report back what they've found. Eeeee, he's so cute! Shockwave is pretty much the only Decepticon I've ever cared for, mainly for the design and color, and also the personality, to some degree. Nice movie-style concept for him!

Hehe I love Shockwave! I actually like the Dr. Smoov version of him best, and watching "Shockwave's Burden" it hit me - Shockwave is totally a robot Milton (the squirrely guy from Office Space). His drones are pretty cute aren't they? I don't think Simmons will think so though when a small army of them are chasing him through Iacon...
Yeah, some of these scene will be pretty fun to illustrate
